hardtail or full suspension?
I live in a pretty flat area (MI).
the guys at the shop suggest hardtail.
I will test both, but if you were in my situation, what bike would you go with?
I'm in between these 2.

they are both sweet. I'm in to a little racing.
thanks!
It depends on what you want to do. Assuming that both bikes with that configuration comes at around the same price, you would need to decide on what type of riding you're going to do.
A full suspension is not necesary less efficient than a hardtail, at least not the one you're comparing. If you're riding mostly paved roads and smooth terrain, the hardtail would be my first choice. It also has better components.
The Rize is a nice bike that will ride well on almost any trail you find, it will let you get through several trails with more confidence, it has a slacker geometry that will let you do that. The Tora, although maybe not as stiff as the Lefty, is also a pretty good fork. It also has better gearing for long climbs, which also come into play.
If you're more into XC racing, maybe the hardtail would be a better choice, if you only want to race now and then and have more an all rounder, go with the Rize.
